BMW SERVICE: THE MOST IMPORTANT QUESTIONS AND ANSWERS.
What is BMW Service?
Your BMW Service Partner takes good care of you and your BMW. From long-term service packages, such as BMW Service Inclusive, to attractive all-inclusive prices of BMW Value Service, to our individual Body and Paint Service, cosmetic repairs and many other services tailored to you and your BMW: we always have the right solution for you – no matter which BMW model you drive and what you need. We make sure that you have many kilometres of carefree travel to look forward to.
How often should I schedule a BMW service appointment and what are the recommended service intervals for my vehicle?
BMW replaced rigid maintenance intervals with a customised service in 1982. Sensors and specific algorithms monitor the different operating conditions of your BMW. The Condition Based Service (CBS) determines the current and future maintenance requirements of your vehicle. The system allows you to adjust the scope of maintenance to your personal needs.
Use the Control Display to view remaining mileages and times for selected maintenance requirements including any legally required due dates:
- Engine oil
- Brake pads: front and rear individually
- Brake fluid
- Vehicle Check
- Legally required inspections according to country regulations
- Diesel particle filter
You are always informed ahead of time when your next service is due.How do I know which service my BMW needs?
Have a look at the Control Display to find out which service you need, for example, engine oil, brake pads, etc. In addition, your vehicle continuously saves all maintenance requirement information during your journey in the remote control (vehicle key). Your BMW Service Partner can simply read the data from your remote control and make you an offer that includes the scope of maintenance that is best for you.
