WHAT DRIVING ASSISTANT PLUS CAN DO.
This is partially automated Level 2 driving. Your BMW maintains its speed, stays in lane, and keeps its distance from the vehicle ahead. It brakes and accelerates independently. Cameras monitor the traffic situation and road signs. Important information comes straight into your instrument cluster. You can relax but always remain in charge.

HOW DRIVING ASSISTANT PLUS WORKS.
SEVERAL COMBINED DRIVER ASSISTANCE FEATURES.
Between 30 and 180 km/h, the Distance Control maintains your desired speed and distance from the vehicle in front. Your BMW brakes and accelerates independently. The Distance Control can also react if you’re about to take a bend too fast. As you come out of the bend, your BMW accelerates back up to your chosen speed.
The Steering and Lane Control Assistant keeps you in the centre of the lane up to 180 km/h. Active steering intervention increases safety in traffic jams and when overtaking. The Speed Limit Assist also has an anticipatory approach, and automatically adapts the set speed in line with current speed limits. If you inadvertently drive too fast, you’ll see a visual warning.
