WHAT SAFETY CAMERA INFORMATION CAN DO.
Your BMW notifies you of speed cameras before you reach them. The system uses warning tones and clearly visible messages on the display to tell you about static speed cameras or traffic light cameras ahead. It does this even if navigation isn't active.
PLEASE NOTE:
The availability of the Safety Camera Information feature depends on local regulations in the country of use. It cannot be activated in Germany, for example, due to a statutory ban on its use. This feature is currently available in the following countries: Australia, Austria, Belgium, Brazil, Bulgaria, Canada, Croatia, Czech Republic, Denmark, Finland, Great Britain, Hungary, Italy, Japan, Mexico, Netherlands, New Zealand, Norway, Poland, Portugal, Romania, Slovakia, Slovenia, Spain, Sweden, USA. The list of approved countries could change at any time as the result of amendments to national legislation. Therefore, this information is subject to change.
