Once Navigation is selected, a map showing the car's current location, nearby roads and other features is displayed. You then select your destination from a sub-menu within Navigation, and can do so from a street list or by using an alphabetic search function.
If you only know the approximate location of a road, you can also select the destination by using the map graphic.
There is a zoom function that will change the view from a 100 km area down to just 100 metres.
The map can be set to point north on the screen, or to constantly adjust depending on the direction of travel.
