BMW’s commitment to international golf is globally renowned and highly successful.
This is recognised in New Zealand where BMW supports the NZ Open and is a sponsorship partner of NZ Golf.
The BMW ISPS Handa New Zealand Open is once again being played in Queenstown next year and is set to be the biggest golfing event hosted in New Zealand. The tournament, a tier one event on the PGA Tour of Australasia, will be held from 10-13th March 2016 at The Hills Golf Course and Millbrook Resort. It will include a unique pro-am format played concurrently with the professional tournament, with a total prize pool of $1million. BMW, who has been the naming rights sponsor for a number of previous New Zealand Opens, is joined by ISPS Handa as co-naming rights sponsor for the 2016 event and also joins the existing family of major sponsors as the ‘official vehicle partner’ of the tournament.
